A Christian Wallace was born Kirkintilloch On 27th January 1799 the fifth of seven children of William Wallace and Margaret Russell. I am looking to confirm that she is the wife of my ancestor Thomas Goodwin. My ancestor Thomas Goodwin and a Christian Wallace registered the birth of their first son John born 5th June 1816 in Kirkintilloch, Dunbarton. 4 of Thomas & Christian's 7 children were sponsored by James or Robert McFarlane. The name George Ure also appears as sponsor to 3 of the children. Are any of these names ringing bells for anyone??
