My husband's family of MARCHANT come from Kidderminster. Thomas Marchant born 1809 married Mary Boys in 1837. They had several children - Mary, Isaiah, Eli, Rhoda, Alfred, Tryphena, Samuel and Noah - all born between 1829 and 1850. Alfred Marchant is our direct line and he married 3 times - to Louisa Baynton who died in 1864, to Harriet Cox who died in 1903 and to Sarah Cox who died in 1906. Alfred himself died in 1914. He had several children including William Alfred, Annie Gertrude, Clara Louisa, Letitia Adelade, Charles Rowland, Walter and James - all born between 1866 and 1887. Charles Rowland married Maud Ramsbottom and had a son Roland John who was my father-in-law. Any connections then please contact me.

When Mary died 1874 in Kidderminster, Worcs, he married? Mary WILSON(b Bridgnorth c1848) & they had 4 children - William, George, Katie, Frederick. All stayed in UK. Edward died 1896 in Kidderminster, but I cannot find his marriage to Mary Wilson (nor her death). Do these names mean anything to you?
