I am searching for information on the background of Lucy Glazebrook(e) of Hoveringham, married to a John Savage, and was living in Caythorpe. She married John Savage in 1830 in Hoveringham. They are my (3) grandparents. John Savage was the local blacksmith and John was one of the founder members of the Methodist church.

The earliest Glazebrook's in Hoveringham I have been able to trace are John Glazebrook (buried 09.04.1764, Hoveringham) and his 1st wife, Elizabeth Charlton (bapt 21.03.1674, Hoveringham. Buried 10.05.1732) and 2nd wife, Ann Pawson (Born Bingham, Married 02.12.1741 in Hoveringham and buried 20.10.1761 in Hoveringham).

Does anyone know the provenance of Sir Robert Goushill of Hoveringham, Notts, who was living in 1420? He married, as her fourth and last husband, Elizabeth, daughter of Richard Fitzalan, Earl of Arundel and Surrey, and had by her two daughters, Elizabeth and Jean, both of whom married and had children.
