My grandfather,Syer John Ratcliffe,was born here in 1890. He married Margaret Scott who was born in Stonham Aspal in 1890. (He had a sister called Ettie May born 1894,died 1982.She was married to Harold Gibbs) These are my mothers parents. They had three children. Frank,Doreen,and Margaret Audrey(my mother). She was born 01/07/1921. Greatgrandparents were Syer Ratcliffe and Rosetta Stiff.He was born in Buxhall 1868. Had brothers James(1859) and Harry(1862).GreatGreatGps were James Ratcliffe who married Eliza Double from Hadleigh. GreatGreatGreatGps were James Ratcliffe and Sarah?born in Hadleigh.My mothers last known address was in Norton Road,Ipswich.Any info can help us trace other relatives. I believe two Ratcliffe Brothers married two Stiff sisters. Any clues?
