I am looking for information on James Cobb. He was born in Holton Suffolk in 1799. He then moved to Manchester where he married Elisabeth Burton in 1823. He had 6 children including William, James John Arthur.He worked in Manchester as a cottom mill overlooker. I am looking for any information about James who was my great great great grandfather.

Details needed for parents of William duke Briggs born 1779 in Holton suffolk. Married Sarah Woods, around 1803 at Holton. later living in Howe Norfolk where william died around 1831 buried in st Marys Church Howe. Sarah died about 1854 also buried at Howe.

Are there any remaining Stedmans in Holton, descended from John Stedman (born between 1826 and 1831 in Haughley). Wifes name was Sarah. Lived in Holton in The Street in 1901. Does anyone have any info about the family?

My Mothers family originated from Holton, herG Grandfather was Robert Beckett who married Anna Welton they eventually ended up in London, Southwark, (1881 Census) are there any remaining Becketts in Holton. Anna Welton originated from Peasenhall Suffolk.
