red mail Guy family, also White & Matcham (Jul 08 Red) Milton Abbas
There are a lot of Guy's who lived in Milton Abbas. James Guy born in 1816 but I don't think his father came from the village. James married Jane Elizabeth White and had four sons and a daughter. His son Albert James was my great grandfather. Albert married Eliza Jane Matcham and there are several Matchams also living in the village. i would be interested in any connections that folk may have from these names. In the 1950's someone from the US was trying to trace the Guy family and wrote to my grandmother, Suzanne Florence Cornez Guy, then married to Stephen Roberts.
