Red)
Searching for Clements family, hairdressers, perfumiers, toy & fancy goods and later clocks shops in Henley, 18th century. Samuel Clements' daughter Mary born 1773 married John Gorton, a music smith; they lived in London and their family became nonconformists, their children being registered at Dr Williams Library pre 1837 with Samuel Clements Hairdresser of Henley named as grandfather.
Does anyone know anything about Samuel Clements, the hairdresser/perfumier?
