Still trying to locate the mysterious origin of Samuel Newberry said of Hawkchurch when he married there a Mary Collyer in 1804. They had 3 sons James ,George ,and William who resided in Thorncombe Uplyme Lyme Regis and Farway that I Know of. A Samuel died in 1837 Reg.Axminster If anyone can look at this V10 P8 maybe I can find him or rule him out!Help is appreciated

I have a George Newberry chr.1808 son of Samuel b 1779 & Mary b 1783 who I believe to be Mary Collyer married and/of Hawkchurch in 1804 . He was a Miller by trade. I would love to pinpoint their origins as it is indeed a "brickwall" to find this couple

I have been told that my great-great grandfather, James Dening and his two brothers came to the US from Hawkchurch, England and setteled in northern New York state circa 1840. I am just beginning my research and would be appreciative of any help I can get. The name changed to Denning @1900 but I know the original spelling only had one 'n' attested to by his headstone at the Mixer Cemetary in Belleville, NY, USA.
