I am the great great grandaughter of William Henry Allen and Ann Bedward. I am trying to find some more information on William Allen. He was a butcher but I can't track down his parents' names.

My mothers family appear to have originated from the Hanley Castle area, including three generations of John Kents. Does anyone have any further info on them or know of any living decendants.My grandfather was Henry Kent and he had three brothers John,Gilbert and Reginald and I am very keen to try and find any decendants of theirs.

I am trying to trace any members of the Simmonds Family from Hanley castle, My great great Grand Father Thomas Charles simmonds Died in 1930. He is buried in St Marie's Church Hanley Castle, also his wife Maria, 13 year old son Charles, and daughter Alice, and Alice's Daughter May, they are all in the same grave. I have a lot of Family history to share Len.

b.1764 married Sarah Taylor 1787, died 1836. His father, also Thomas married Anne Curtis 1760 - need Anne's death. A Phyllis Panting, widow of Thomas died in Tewkesbury workhouse 1840 - did Sarah change her name to Phyllis? Any help gratefully received.

Searching for the family of James Pitway born c. 1801 in Hanley Castle, Worcs. He married Margaret Whittingham of Claughton, Lancashire in 1796 on 17 June 1823 at St Marys, Hanley Castle. I now need clarification of their parents and children. If anybody knows anything about this couple, I would be extremely grateful to hear from you.

Searching for any records of Henry George Seckerson TOMLINSON born 14th Feb. 1855 in Hanley Castle, son of Joseph or John TOMLINSON (b. 1823 Stone, Staffs)and Eliza BARNARD (b.1834 Ripple) He married Louisa EVANS (b.1856 Meifod)in 1878 at Meifod, his home address was given as Peniarth, Llanegryn. In 1881 the Census shows them living at Four Acres, Enville, Staffs, his parents at 2 Willow Cottages, Great Malvern. The family remembers them working for people called CROSSFIELD and also the TUDWAYS possibly in Staffs. Would love to make further progress with family history and hear from anyone else with more info.
