Gretna green Wedding
(Aug 08
Red)
I am looking for information on Gretna Green records. My husband`s Grandfather died in a drowning accident in 1916 in the London Docks. His widow was left pregnant and with 2 small children. She then went on to marry her brother-in-law at Gretna about 1918. The marrying of a brother-in-law was illegal in England at that time. How do I find "Gretna" re3cords?? Thanks.
