John Murray b.1799 and daughter Jane b.1834 were blacksmiths and 'priests' at Allisons Bank toll bar (1843 – 1865) Jane married George GRAHAM of Cubby Hill and Oakbank, just N of Kirkandrews on Esk, Cumberland. Does anyone know was this a GRETNA GREEN wedding? Date? John went on to be landlord of the Graham Arms Kirkandrews on Esk. Does anyone know more?
