Eagles family (Aug 09 Red)
The sisters Florence, Constance and Ada Eagles lived at Mill House or Hill House Great Barford and looked after orphaned or otherwise unwanted, children around about 1910. I would be really grateful if anyone can provide any memories of this family. I am trying to trace the history of Cecil John 'Jack' Williams who was adopted by Ada Eagles.

Grose Family (Jul 08 Red)
Wanting to share family history information regarding the Grose family. Information I have so far is that Richard Grose married Elizabeth Lewis in 1718 in Great Barford. Their son Richard (jnr) married Sarah Smith in 1758 in Eversholt. Richard and Sarah had a son named William who was baptised in 1764 in Eversholt.

ALBERT WILLIAMS GRIBBLE (Nov 04 Red)
Seeking any information in respect of Albert Williams Gribble, born 1894/5 in Bedford. Served in the Great War with the Bedfordshire Yeomanry. Joined the Queens Engineering Works in 1911 and retired in 1961 to a house and half an acre in Great Barford. Any information much appreciated.
