History of 24 Bluevale Street
From 1871, my ancestors, Thomas and Elizabeth Wallace Family and a George William and Elizabeth Rawles, lived at 24 Bluevale Street and had moved around the corner to 464 Duke Street by 1872. I was told there may have been a fire that may have killed some of my ancestors. I was wondering if anyone can tell me if there was a fire in or around 25 Bluevale Street. And some details about the fire. In any of the papers back then? Suggest where I can locate the information by a phone call or on the internet, since I am from the States. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Henry Walsh/Welsh
I am looking for a record of immigration for my 3rd great grandfather, Henry Walsh, sometimes spelled, Welsh. He was said to have migrated to America before his family to look for work but I cannot find this. He had his third child, Ellen, born in 1880 so he would have had to be around for the birth Margaret, June 1st, 1882. So I am thinking June, July of 1882 he leaves and returns by July 1885 to gave his son Henry born April 24th, 1886. He says in an 1901 census he was in America in 1884. But like I said, I can't find a record of him there or back and then back again because Elizabeth and all the children come over in 1888 - 89. So if anyone has any help I would appreciate that. And to see anything about him his parents names where James Walsh and Helen McGlasky? spelling?. Said to be from Ireland, Belfast he writes.
Elizabeth McFail/McPhail Wallace
I am looking for my 4th great grandmother, Born 1818? Married to Thomas Wallace. They had a daughter, Elizabeth and Thomas and another child. I was wanting to find out if she was from Ireland or Scotland and any history of her. I think she was in the service industry? She married later in life.

Sgt John Patrick Sheridan
I am looking for relatives of a man called John Patrick Sheridan. He was an airman in WW2 and was killed in an accident in Ellingstring, Yorkshire Oct 1944. He is buried in the St Kentigan Cemetery Glasgow. The plane was Lancaster NF963. My uncle Robert Ranui Bradshaw from New Zealand RAF was killed in the same accident.
John Rawles and Mary Ellen Rawles
I am looking for two people, brother and sister, children of my 3rd great grandmother, Elizabeth Wallace Welsh. She gave birth to Mary Ellen Rawles for her first husband, George Willliam Rawles, I am presuming he died but no death certificate. She was with the children living with her mother, also Elizabeth Wallace in the Scotland Census of 1871. She and the children's name is spelled Baules but I know it is them. She was a cotton yarn winder in 1871-1879 and lived at 302 Garngadhill with Henry Welsh her second husband. But in the 1881 Census John and Mary Ellen are not with her. I am astonished to find this and can only assume they are in an orphanage. I don't know if there are any records to look into on this but John reunites with Elizabeth and Henry and moves to America in 1888-89. He is about 20 at this time. Still uses the name Rawles and he and Mary Ellen still have the name Elizabeth and George Rawles. So with that can anyone help me or suggest where I may continue my search??????
