Would there be anyone decended from this family still living in the area. They were living at Heworth and Felling Shore. As far as I can go back Gavin and Margaret Sherrick had a son called Alexander who went on to marry Sarah Heron. Any info would be appreciated.Gavin Sherrick was born in Ireland in 1827. |

Florence married william harris warkcup from sth shields they had 4 boys william harris= thomas= david born sth shields but norman was born at slough 1942. George Aston Morris
Does anyone have any info on George Aston Morris born c1811 Ludlow, Shropshire. I am trying to find out if he had been a welsh minister in his early years. He lived at Wooler with wife Jane then moved to Gateshead where he lived with 2nd wife Ellen.

George Reed Hedley
Searching for information on g.g. grandfather George Reed Hedley, son of John Hedley, born c1821 in Gateshead. In 1844 he married Mary Hobson at Monkwearmouth, Durham. Known children of the marriage are Elizabeth Ann, John H, George, Mary, Sarah Jane and James. In 1851 they were living in Monkwearmouth, then relocated to Hartlepool. I have the history of Elizabeth Ann, but nothing of the rest of the family. Any assistance greatly appreciated. |

Daniel McNally born Tyrone c.1845 married Jane Farrell poss Carvon c1845 They came to England. Gateshead on Tyne but not sure if they were married before leaving Ireland 3 daughters ELIZA 1872 KATE(catherine)1880 ELLEN/NELLIE c1890 and DANIEL 1878 died 1894 The family stayed in Gatehead till death of each.
