I am looking for information about Isobel (Tibbie) Brown who ran Dipple farm from about 1938 until her death in 1970's. Also her sister Chrissie who was married to Harold *, a retired sugar planter, they lived in Spey Bay in the 1970's.

REID family of Bellie/Fochabers

Researching the REID family who lived in/around Fochabers 1750 (or before) to c.1880. The family were RC and presumably Jacobites. William Reid b.1773 was a 'manufacturer',married to Susan Bremner. Their son Arthur Reid b.1814 was a farmer and Bank Agent. Arthur Reid married Jane Grant (widow - previously married to Adam Gordon), their children:
(1) William b.1839 emigrated to New Zealand c.1872
(2) Arthur b.1841 became a missionary, died Far East
(3) Jean Grant b.1843 m. William Nelson Duggan MD.
I have more research to share - hoping to find others searching this family.
