EDWARD ALBERT COLEMAN
(Dec 06 Green)
I am looking for any reference to my Grandfather, EDWARD ALBERT COLEMAN who married KATIE KATHLEEN ABBOTT at Woodbridge in March 1918. According to his marriage certificate Edward's father was EDWARD COLEMAN, Seaman, deceased before 1918. At the time of this marriage Edward was a Corporal in the 24th Manchester Regiment and his army number was 2511. He gave his address as 19 Chapel Lane Felixstowe and his age as 21. It is possible that he was married before his marriage to Katie, who died in 1982. I was told he had come 'from abroad' to enlist in the army, so he may have been born abroad and even retuned abroad after he left Katie and their 5 children in 1929/30 when they were living in Ipswich. There has been no sign of him since; can anyone help to locate any reference to him? I have been looking for him for more than 10 years now with no luck so far. Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

FRANKS William (1809-1846)
(Nov 04
Red)
William Franks was baptised at Felixstowe, one of 6 children of John Franks and his wife Elizabeth nee Rowe who lived here. William later moved to Cambridgeshire where he married and lived out his rather short life. I would be interested to hear from any descendents of these familes.
