Seeking family history information regarding Richard Grose and his wife Sarah (nee Smith) who were married in Eversholt in 1758. They had one known son William Grose who was baptised in Eversholt in 1764.
William Grose later resided in the Shoreditch area and was a shoemaker by trade. His wife is unknown, but he had one known son William Smith Grose who was also a shoemaker by trade.

Kettley sisters from South Africa
(Jul 07 Green)
Mary Jane KETTLEY of SIMONSTOWN, CAPE OF GOOD HOPE, married Joseph SMART in South Africa, but they moved back to Bedfordshire before 1871 and then to St Pancras, London, where they are still living in 1901. My interest is in the sister of Mary Jane, who is Maria Ellen Kettley, also from Simonstown, Cape of Good Hope, who marries the cousin of my great great grandfather. He was known as John Bonner at his birth, but, on discovering that his father was really George Copeland and already married, John first took his mother's name, ROLLINSON, then reverted to BONNER and, finally became COPELAND, after his father had re-married his mother, following the death of his first wife. John Copeland and Maria Ellen Kettley have three children: Florence Charlotte Copeland, born 1875 in Alverstoke, Hampshire, John Bonner Copeland, born in 1878 in Chesterfield and Norman Copeland, born in 1886 in Belper. Does anyone know when they married and when Maria Ellen left South Africa. Did they have any other siblings?
