Cooper/Bason/Newberry Families
(Mar 05
Red)
I am researching my gt gt grandparents and their siblings etc... Gt gt grandfather was Frederick Cooper, born 1850 (though he may have been called Frederick Bason) father James, mother Sophia, and also had a brother called Henry Cooper and a sister, Elizabeth Cooper. My gt gt grandmother was Esther Elizabeth Newbery born c1851. Father was James, mother Sarah. Esther's brother William married Elizabeth Cooper and later in life Esther's father married Frederick's mother!!!
All this took place in and around the village of Emberton, Clifton Reynes and Petsoe End. Is there anyone with anymore information please?
Other surnames that have married into these families include Caves, Sharp, Lovell, Robbins and Mawford.
