Does anyone remember my late father who lodged in Ecclefechan in the early 1940s before joining the Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders/Liverpool Scottish regiment? He was then sent to Gibraltar where he met and married my mother and we think later went out to Cyprus or Aden with the army.

Son Henry (Harry) Paton was an All Black Rugby player 1907 & 1910. Harry's daughter Eris Paton toured the UK in 1954 with the NZ Womens cricket team.
