Does anyone have any information on William Holmes, born in Birmingham in 1885 and lived in Eastwood From 1901. He married Mary Pegg (born 1892) in 1906. I would like to find out if there are any decendants from the marriage. Any information would be appreciated.

Is anyone researching the Wainwright family? My great Grandparents were George & Ann. Chilren were Arther H, George V,Walter M,William H,Edith E,and Kate Meceda. All born in Birmingham & later Lived in Derby. Edith married Allen Bowkett & lived in Eastwood (1901 - 1930's). Kate Meceda married David Capewell and lived in Langley Mill around the same time. Any further information would be appreciated.

I am trying to find what happened to Lucy Bowkett nee Abbott. She married my uncle William Henry Bowkett in 1923. He died in 1931 and I believe she married again in Eastwood. I do not know if there were any children of the first marriage, but believe there may have been some from the second. Any information would be greatfully received.

Edward Birch was born around 1811 in Eastwood, Notts. He married Martha ? and they were in Hinckley Leics in the 1841 census, back in Nottm for the 1851 & 1861 census, By 1871 they had a pub, (The Nottingham Arms) in Birmingham, Warks. (most likely Kings Norton area) Does anyone know anything of Edward and why he moved to Hinckley (where his wife was born)

Does anyone have any information on the Anthony family from Eastwood? James Anthony b. 30/07/1882 was married to a Foster (either Susan or Sarah Ann from Brinsley) his parents Thomas b. 1861 & SarahAnn Bollans b. 29/09/1839 were married on 21/05/1861. Thomas' parents were Christopher b. 1788 & Pheobe Riley b. 1797, they married on 15/12/1797 at Denby. Phoebe's parents, German Riley b. 1764 & Hannah Holland b. 1758 were married in Horsley on 16/05/1785. James had a son, also called James b. 1905 and a daughter Sarah Ann (b.unknown. This James married Edna Florence Anthony b.21/12/1907 from Selston and had 3 children. I would be interested to hear from anyone who has any further links with the Anthony family from Eastwood.
