My grandmother Alice Naomi Cook nee Parks, born 1883, died 1961, had a brother Thomas Frederick Parks but no-one ever talked about him. He had a daughter Winnie and went off to join the navy possibly about 1912 - the date on the postcard is smudged. I believe he married Harriet Verrall. If anyone knows anything at all about this family I would love to know. Thanks.

Sarah Avery was born c. 1795, in Eastbourne, out of William and Sarah. Baptised in 1797. In 1815, she turns up marrying one Jacob Curtis, in Portsea, Hampshire. I have lots of the rest. I'd like to know more about what came before and shortly afterwards. Thanks :-)

Can anyone help me with tracking down the Oxford Womens Circle. I believe set up at St Elizabeths church Victoria Drive Old Town in the 1930's. My Grandmother Maud Ada Bond who lived in Royal Sussex Crescent used to go there to meet her friends including a mrs Clutterbuck and Mrs Peirce I believe. Any info gratefully recieved.

I am looking for information or relatives of Ruth E Stephens who was born in Eastbourne about 1837. She married James William Gee on 23 Dec 1857 at Lewisham, Kent. On the marriage certificate her father is John Stephens, a Wheelwright, and one of the witnesses was Alfie Stephens and the other Jane Elizabeth Shute. She died in 1877 in Woolwich.
