My grandmother Edith Crane was 23 y.o. when she married in 24/9/1902 to Frederick Charles West. The 1881 census says she was 2 and born in Singleton but I cannot find her in 1880, or June qtr. or Sept. qtr.1879. I have tried other locations but with no success. Can anyone out there find her birth recorded. My mother left a diarized note saying her birthday was 10th June?

Singleton, Westhampnet
(Sep 09
Green)
Singleton
In my search for a wedding certificate for Ellen Crane 1904, I came across other married couples in April-June Qtr.1904 which might save some searching. A Winnifred Andrews married Poce Boniface 2b831, Ellen Boxall married Charles Edward Bailey 2b842, and Margaret Baker married Alfred J Broadbridge 2b849. I also found an anomaly Flora Arnell is recorded as 2b835, as well at Laura Bailey 2b835. It seemed a shame to just throw this information away without making it available.

Crane family moved from Buckinghamshire to Singleton. Several Cranes went to Massechutsis. Some remained in Sussex. Any out there? My grandmother was Edith Crane who married Frederick Charles West born Graffham.
I believe there are some West relations in Chichester?

Habin, rumboldswyke
(Feb 09
Green)
Chichester
looking for anyone with any information on the Habin family of Rumboldswyke, Chichester; any relations of Thomas Habin (b. abt 1796) who married Elizabeth Field (b abt 1772) on the 18th august 1793; this is as far as i have managed to go back. Edward Habin (b1807), their son, was a corn merchant and saddler who lived at the Hornet, and HIS son, John Habin (b 1840) was later the farmer of Church and Manor Farms in Chidham. I have been unable to trace his daughter Nancy (annie) after 1904, when her married name was Annie Cracknell, so any information on this too would be helpful. she was a nurse.
Also, if anyone lives in Chichester and could keep a lookout for gravestones belonging to the Habin family, that would also be really helpful. May have been buried in St Pancras.
