Seeking descendants of Horace West born 1884 (believed to be brother of Frederick Charles West and Mary West. Parents were Maryan West (Ward b.1847/1848 in Petworth) and father Charles West shepherd b. Graffham. There is a long line of Wests right back to Sarah Duke from sussex. Also any information about East Dean primary school (when built etc). Believe built by bricklayers name of Crane.

Accident at East Dean (Revised Jun 06 Green)
My ggg grandmother Lydia Colwell, nee Bradford,had an accident on 7/8/1838, and died of her injuries. Present was Sarah Cheal of West Dean.

I am looking for relations to my GGG grandparents who lived in East Dean. They were Robert Rusbridge and Elizabeth Ayling. They were married in Alfriston in 1819. They had 6 children: James, Charlotte,Thomas, Hannah, Ellen or Eleanor and William.
