Bulman Village was the previouse name of Gosforth Newcasle upon Tyne. Job Bulman bought land and built "Coxlodge Hall" in 1796 He made his fortune in India, together with another man George Schum who went on to build Arcot Hall Cramlington. Arcot Hall is named after a town in India where both men worked
