kemp arvagh, co.cavan Ireland (Nov 09 Green)
I am tracing any decendents of the kemp family from Arvagh. My great grandfather was Richard kemp who resided at Drumalt, Arvagh and my grandfather was acheson kemp who had a brother Richard Kemp and four sisters. I believe the family may have orginally resided at Corradownan, Arvagh and had also close links with Brankill Arvagh as land had been passed down to present generation.

Flockhart - birth records? (Oct 09 Red)
I'm looking for the birth (est 1835) of a Thomas Flockhart, father John Flockhart. I suspect the family listed in 1841 and 1851 census as living in Dundee, HoH Jean Flockhart (mother) as being the family I need. the father isn't recorded so to find out who the father was I need to find the birth records for the children. These are not listed on Scotlandspeople. I suspect they were Presbyterian (records not yet on scotlandspeople). Does anyone have access to the church records, Presbyterian, Free Church etc, in the dundee area? I'm looking for the birth of Thomas flockhart 1834/35, Elizabeth Flockhart 1837/38, and Helen flockhart 1841, mother Jean - Father possibly John (and possibly dead when Helen was born). Name may have been recorded as Flockart. There were 3 older children Jean, John, and Emily who I think were born in edinburgh. Any help would be gratefully received.

John Petro was a ships bo'sun believed born in Trieste, Austria (now Italy) about 1851. He married Ann Nairn in Dundee on 25/12/1883. William married Eddie, son Peter and daughter Thelma. Fredrick, wife unnown, daughter Barbara. William was a ships carpenter on wheat and wool clippers to Australia and Engineer at London Pumping station. Lived at 72 Geere Rd Plaistow.
