Wilfred Withers Scardifield, (born Droxford) son of Lot Alfred and Mary Catherine Walters Scardifield of Newtown Fareham, Hants, was KIA 4th October 1917 with the DCLI. He left no direct descendants but his brothers lived until the 60s and 70s. Does anyone have a PHOTO of him, either with the DCLI or with the Hampshires. (all service numbers available if required) We would like to think he was not forgotten. Trevor & Penny

My grandfather George AYLMORE (from West Wittering) was a butcher on Main Rd. Droxford around 1930. He was married to Alice Priscilla PURNELL. Their daughter Edna Mary, known as Dink, married Idris JONES (RN) and stayed in Droxford. There was an incident that was in the papers around 1942. I have lost contact with my Auntie Dink and my cousins Dawn, Edwina and Sarah Jane. Does anyone have info. or connections. Thank you, Maggie

Any information on the Pullingers of Droxford or Froxfield most wellcome. I have 2 in my family tree I think Dinah was her first name but this is all I have and she would have been born 1750-1800. Mother and daughter could have had same first name father Henry. The daughter being my ancester.

I am looking for any information about the LITTLEFIELD Family that lived in Droxford. Also any of the Diseases of the 1618 as a whole family of Littlefield's died on the same day as regards to an epidemic that was going around at the time, and I would be interested to find out what they had contracted.
