I am looking for information on, or descendants of, the Bolton/Boulton family of Worcestershire. Job Bolton/Boulton was married to Mary Allen in 1688 in Worcester and baptised their children in St Andrew, Droitwich. A few of their children, in turn, baptised their children in that parish. Any information, especially on Job's origins, would be welcomed.

Brooke family of Droitwich (Jul 09 Red)
I am looking for any information on, or descendants of, the Brooke family of Droitwich. My earliest known Brooke ancestor was Robert Brooke, a weaver, who was baptising children in Droitwich from 1650. The Brookes lived in Droitwich for more than a century afterwards. Other occupations they followed include those of the clothier and wheelwright.

Voice, Voyce, Price (Apr 09 Red)
Phoebe Price born Birmingham c1855, her father James was a Carpenter. She married Thomas Voice/Voyce at Holy Trinity, Bordesley, Birmingham in 1878 and went to live in Droitwich where Thomas was born and returned to Birmingham in the 1890's with Thomas and their children. Her birth was not registered so I cannot 'prove' she is mine. It is possible that her mother was Eliza Robertson, born c1826 at Bromyard, Herefordshire, the daughter of Joseph Robertson and Ann Nash and sister of Maria who married George Durose in Birmingham.

Deakin Guise Droitwich Hanbury (Feb 09 Red)
I believe John Deakin born about 1803/4 in Hanbury, was a wheelwright in Droitwich from census info. I descend from his son George Deakin ( If i have this family right) b 1841 Droitwich. John and Ann had other children christened at St Andrews Droitwich. George Deakin married Elizabeth Guise b. 1851/2 Droitwich(dau of perhaps John Guise (Salt Pan Smith) and Sarah unknownsurname). George and Elizabeth marr. 1871 Droitwich had William Deakin 1873 and Minnie Deakin 1879 and possibly other children who died. George's wife Elizabeth then died in 1881 just before the 1881 census when her daughter Minnie was 2. Minnie Deakin grew up and married Arthur Edward Haycock in 1897 at St Saviours Birmingham where her brother William signed her marriage cert and her father was listed as a butcher. Minnie and Arthur had 9 children. If anyone has any information on this / these families especially the John Deakin from Hanbury and if his father was John Deakin of Hanbury who married Ann Kitsell in Himbleton in 1798. I also would love any contact frmo Guise, Mansell and Haycock families. Thanks, Heather

Griffiths (Aug 08 Red)
I am looking for any information on the Griffiths family who lived in Droitwich in 1800's. Henry Griffiths married Mary Webb Hughes at Hadzor church in June 1853. They had 2 sons Henry born in 1854 and William born in 1857. Henry Snr died some time after 1857. Mary remarried twice to William Farley in 1863 and William Atkins in 1874. Henry Jnr married Mary Pugh in May 1883 they had 3 sons Charles(my grandfather) born 1888, Walter and another son (unknown). I have details of Mary Webb Hughes family but would like to find out more on Henry Snr's parents his father was William . I don't know where Henry Snr was born or his date of birth.
