in the 1841 census taylor phenix snr, aged 60 farmer and his wife mary phenix aged 60 and with them george stone aged 6. living at low common.deopham and in the 1851 census george stone living with taylor pheonix aged 75 Freehold Proprietor wife sarah pheonix aged 74 and son john pheonix aged 41 Thatcher and george is down as gson aged 16 Thatcher's Servant,and they were at low common, if i am right taylor had children before he got married her surname was stone, george is my gggrandad

Am seeking the baptism of Sarah BASS who married Robert Gathergood here in 1796, baptised 6 children here 1796-1819, and was buried here in 1859. 1851 Census says she was born in Hingham but not found there or Deopham.

My family, the Harvey's lived in Deopham 1682-abt.1920. Have letters written by my great grandmother where she mentioned the Gathergoods.

The Victoria Inn,Church Road, Low Common was owned by William & Maria Gathergood from 1871 to 1903. I am interested in any information about Gathergood family members who lived in this area in the 1800's.
