Lawrence and Sarah Wills
(May 07
Red)
I am interested in the family of Lawrence and Sarah Wills. From the IGI it appears that they had John (1813), James Hersey (1815), George (1817) and Henry Lawrence (1818) while living in Dawlish. It is possible that this Lawrence Wills later joined the coast guard and died in 1829 on the Isle of Wight.

Beard Dawlish
(Sep 06
Red)
My gggrandfather was Henry(Harry) Beard born 23 Dec 1829 in Dawlish. He married Jane Langworthy born 5 May 1829. They were married 1852/1853. He was a bookbinder and a carpenter. She kept house. After marriage they may have briefly lived in Torquay. Harry's father was probably Thomas Beard born ca 1796. His mother was Mary Morgan born ca 1805. Thomas and Mary were living in Dawlish in 1841 according to the UK Census. They had, it appears, the minimum of the following children.John born ca 1826, Thomas born 13 October 1827, Henry born 23 Dec 1829, Albert born ca 1832, Elizabeth born ca 1834, George born ca 1838, Mary Jane born ca 1841 and Edwin born ca 1842. All of the males apparently were involved in building and in particular cabinet or funiture making. It appears that Thomas(1796)had a father Thomas born ca 1766 living nearby in 1841. Thomas(1766)was living with his wife Sophia (clearly not the mother of at least some of the known children) born circa 1786. Thomas(1796) appears to have had a brother living next door to him named George born ca 1791. George was married to Mary _ born ca 1791 and they had at least the following children: George born ca 1821, Mary born ca 1822?, and June(not sure. can't read the writing) born ca 1826.
Would love to know any and all things relative to any of these individuals
