Does anyone have any information about Joyce Docherty (nee Watson) who was born 1931 in Darlington and lived at 9 Herbert St Darlington with her parents Wilfred and Mary E. Her brother Wilfred Alan Watson was born 1936 and lived there also. Joyce married Colin Docherty in 1951 in Darlington and they had two daughters Lynn born 1953 and Irene born 1954.The whole family then emigrated to Canada in 1962/63/64 and we have lost touch ever since any information would be most grateful.

Does anybody have any information about Wilfred Alan Watson usually called Alan who was born 22 March 1936 and lived in Herbert St Darlington. He moved to Wolverhampton and then to Barton Richmond at The Porch we have since lost touch. His father was called Wilfred and mother Mary E and he had a sister whose name we do not know and would love to trace she emigrated to Canada we think in the 50s early 60s. Any information would be wonderful.

Does anyone have any information about Mary E Phillips born around 1900. Who married Wilfred Watson in December 1927 and lived all their lives at 9 Herbert St Darlington as we presume they have now both passed away. They had a son called Wilfred Alan born 22 March 1936 and a daughter whose name we do not know but we think emigrated to Canada. Any help at all would be appreciated.

Since my enquiry Feb 08 I have found out that Hunter Goldsbrough's wife was a Mary Teasdale and they married at St. Cuthbert's, Darlington, on 3.3.1819. I believe Hunter's parents were Richard Goldsbrough and Mary Hunter and they were married in Darlington on 3.5.1784. I also believe that Mary's parents were a John Teasdale and Hannah Race and they married on 15.10.1789. at St. Mary the Virgin, Middleton, Teasdale.

Would like to contact anyone from the Cann family. They where originately from Devon and moved to Darlington in c1800s.Names I know are William and his son John. John died at a darlington address in 1887.I believe there where more brothers and sisters. Archibold is a brother to John I think.John had a daughter Edna who moved to Hull in 1890s.She is my GGmother.Hope someone can helpas I am coming to a full stop having exhausted all channels. Pam
