green mail Fining/Cannon/Canning/Marsden (Revised Jul 09 Green)
I've found relatives living in Darlaston during the 1850's and 1860's. I know that two branches of my family (Patrick and Fanny Cannon with their young daughter and son, and Frederick and Ann Marsden & family)then moved over to Chesterfield, Derbyshire but they left relatives behind here in Staffordshire. Is anyone else researching these names in Staffordshire? I'd be happy to exchange information. Sal

All their children were baptised in Darlaston but I can find no record of John or his wife's maiden name (according to the 1841 census she was born in Staffordshire c1796.
