Any info out there about the Weeks family? Thomas Weeks and Jane Powel had a son Sampson who was christened 23.10.1796 in Dawley Magna, Shropshire. At some point Sampson moved to Dudley with his wife Mary, he's aged 74 on the 1871 census and has sons Thomas (42) and William (33)

George Thomas York was my GrGreat Grandfather born 1803 in Sheriff Hales. Benjamin and Rachael where his parents. He was convicted in 1845 for stealing a horse, 10years to Australia. He was married to Ann Lewis-Jones in 1836 and left behind two daughters,Mary,Martha (my Gr.Grandmother) and George 5 mths old. They all lived in Dawley. Ann married Michael Garbett some years later and had a son,Michael. Have his court papers but cannot find what became of him when released.Cannot find him in Australia. Any help would be appreciated. I am researching my husbands family Colley who came from Dawley Magna.I have got back to Richard Colley bapt 1793 who married Catherine Pursal in 1818.They had at least three children John b1824,Martha b1820,Samuel b 1830.John is our direct line and he married Jane Owen b1821,in 1842 also in Dawley.They had 6children the eldest being Thomas b 1844who married Maria Jones firstley and then after Marias death Emma Tripass from Westwood in Warwickshire.Can anyone help me on the Colley, Purcel families at this early stage
