I am looking for contacts with members of the May family. Especially those who were born in Matrindale Road or Coolfin Road. My great grandfather was Edward May married to Caroline Susannah Abbott. Their children included: Ann, Charles, George, Emily, Elizabeth, Joseph,Doreen. I have information which I am happy to share.

Richard William Kidd b1869 in Middlesborough and Eliza Plank b.1870 in Bristol. Richard Wm and Eliza had children Charles James Kidd b.1891 in Thornaby-On-Tees, Yorkshire. Richard W. b.1893 in Thornaby-On-Tees. They then moved to Custom House and had - Ethel b.1894, Florence b.1897, Albert b.1900, Alice b.1902, Arthur b.1904 and John William Plank Kidd b.1906(my grandfather). The family lived in Cundy Road, Alwick Road and Randolph Road. any information on any of this family would be gratefully received.

green mail Robinson - Stevens (Revised Jan 06 Green)
Does anybody have information on the Robinson family that lived in Leyes Road, Custom House in the late 1890s to the 1930s their name was really Stevens but every one knew them as Robinson. The family was father John Clark, mother Mary Anne Amelia and the children were John William Samuel born 1877,James Henry Augustus born 1879, George Philip Lancelot born 1881, William Edwin Franklin born 1894 and Sidney born 1900, John married Caroline Wullenwebber and James married Jessie Thomas.

Any information please. My Grandmother Ethel Dimmick lived in Leyes Road with her father William Dimmick and mother Katherine Gillespie and her grandfather Hugh Rollo Gillespie till about 1916 when she moved to King Georges Avenue with her husband George Phillip Lancelot Stevens and family, George was killed in 1917 and Ethel remarried in 1920 to Henry Miller, he was killed in the docks in 1929 and Ethel carried on living in King Georges Avenue till her death in 1975 with her daughter Grace Baker and family.
