green mail Horrocks / Knowles (Mar 08 Green)
I am researching my Paternal grandmother who was born in Crumpsall (just outside Blackley) Her father was William Horrocks born in 1859 in Blackley and her mother was, I believe, Margaret Knowles born around 1862 in Crumpsall. They had another daughter, Maggie who was born a year after my grandmother (Charlotte Horrocks B 1892) If I'm correct in assuming that her mother was Margaret Knowles, then Margaret's father ran a pub called the Waterloo Inn (Waterloo Street, Crumpsall) Any info, particulalry who William Horrock's father was, would be extremely helpful...

He was my great uncle.
