Researching above names in Crowhurst and Hollington areas 1700-1880's. In particular: William Thompsett marries Ann Eldridge in 1818, Benjamin Thompsett marries Sarah Ann Barnes (Eldridge) in 1865; John Thompsett marries Sarah ? approx 1780. Can anyone help? My gg grandfather Benjamin Lingham (b.1840) came from a large family many of whom were from Crowhurst, Sussex. His parents were Henry and Cordelia (Eldridge). Benjamin married Sarah Tuearsly Milliner in 1860. I would be interested to hear from anyone with more infomation.

Looking for information on Elizabeth Twirl born about 1720 in Crowhurst, she married James Summers/Sommers from Ashburnham in 1740. Their daughter was Mary Summers born approx.1745, she married William Morris. Has anyone got the Twirl family on their tree? As this family are a complete mystery to me.

Is she the Sarah Harmer christened Wartling 15 June 1762, dau of Thomas Harmer and Sarah, or possibly the Sarah christened 29 June 1765 in Warbleton dau of a Thomas Harmon and Sarah? William Button was christened Crowhurst 18 Nov 1760, the son of John Button and Mary (___).
