Hi
I wonder if there are any relatives on this site
I have traced back so far to Thomas Brown & Margaret Lyel 1738
My 5th Great Grandfather
Their son James Brown who married Madalen ( one spelling of ) Clark to John Brown who married Betty Brown had a Daughter Euphemia
Who married an Alexander McDonald
Alex is the problem he drowned on10/4/1845, I am led to believe was brought home with another 4 bodies, he is listed as a sailor, could also be fisherman
Does anyone have any further details on him
or any idea of any boat that went down at that time
Also any details of David Edmonds family, his father came from Cupar
They ran a hotel & was also a post runner, someone told me he ran the mail coach to St Andrews
He married a Janet Pryde One of his sons , also David,( one of 8 Children ) who married a Magdelaine McDonald in 1866.
They had a daughter called she was my Euphemia McDonald Edmond, she was my Gt Granny, also known as Mossie,
If you think you have a connection, or can help please get in touch
