Reid of Adamhill (Jan 06 Green)
I am researching history of John Reid born 2.5.1836 at Adamhill. Married Mary Young of Whitburn on 5.8.1870.Father David Reid born 13.8.1793 at Adamhill who married Agnes Struthers. born 10.10.1800 at Sandbed Farm, Sorn. John and ary emigrated to NZ and are my greatgrandparents. Can anybody give me any more information about this family. When did they come to Adamhill and from where, etc. Have visited Adamhill but present owner only knows as far back as 1900. thank you
