I am looking for any details of the PETLEY family that lived in the Northwood area of West Cowes. (1850-1918) Three of the family are in the Churchyard there. Owen Petley married Lynda Bright there at St John's. Paul

Can anyone help me with any details regarding my grandfathers family. He was born Percy Charles Smith in 1879. His address according to birth certificate was 60 High Street Cowes. Lived with his parents George Henry and Ellen nee Reed. Had 4 other siblings according to 1881 census. Parents listed as upholsterers (so I assume they had a shop at that address). old photo of Cowes High street would be interesting.

Louisa Alice had five siblings, one of them her sister Catherine Elizabeth Sanders (nee White) married a George Sanders and had at least two children. Any descendants ?

Looking for confirmation that The Old School House in Bridge Road (now a holiday home), East Cowes used to be the St James' School. My greatgreatgrandparents Thomas and Sophia Molloy were teachers there in 1871. Does anyone remember this school being called St James' School?

I am searching for their ancestors and story, and where they may connect to the family of William Howley Goodenough or his ancestors. I have researched one of Thomas Goodenough's sons to America who married Anna Johnston in 1859 and left to America about 1879, yet I am interested in the ancestry that connects Thomas to William Howley.
