Seeking information on JOHN/'MARCY' HINTON, sons LEONARD 1759 and DANIEL 1762 at Corsley. LEONARD m REBECCA SLADE widow and lived for sometime at Barford St. Martin but were buried at Corsley. Connection to a JEMIMA HINTON and/or JEMIMA WILKINS also buried Corsley. A JEMIMA VINEY m an ELI WILKINS of Barford St. Martin and they were connected in some way to LEONARD/REBECCA HINTON. ELI & JEMIMA lived later on Isle of Wight.

I would be interested to hear from anyone knowing about the assisted emigration of some 60 people from Corsley to Canada in 1830. The group left on a ship that sailed from Newpoot S. Wales on 11 April 1830
