Edmondson. Broughton in Craven (Jul 09 Red) Broughton
Edmondson, Richard. He married Rebecca the daughter of John Wilkinson of Marton in Craven, in 1773 when Richard was about 25/30. Richard and Rebecca had 3 sons Richard, William and Thomas. I know lots about Richard from the date of his marriage. He farmed the Tempest's farm on the "Broughton Hall Estate" and got involved in water supplies for the Leeds/liverpool Canal, but nothing about him prior to 1773. Who his parents were or where he came from, though I have a suspition he was not born in Broughton or Marton. Help or advice welcome.

I am seeking information on Anthony Taylor born 1775 at Airton, Yorkshire and died 1854 at Airton. He was the son of John Taylor (1738-1823) of Airton Cottage. Anthony married Margaret Brown (1774-1847) of Calton, Yorkshire in 1798 at Kirkby Malham, Yorkshire. They had 6 children between 1798 and 1808 - Mary, Elizabeth, Margaret, John, Edward Brown and Robert Benjamin. Anthony was a farmer at Airton.

I am seeking information on Ellen Throup born 1796 at Winterburn, Yorkshire and died 1854 at Calton, Yorkshire. She married John Brown, farmer of Calton on June 25, 1828 at Cargrave, Yorkshire. Ellen was the daughter of Elizabeth and John Throup.

I am seeking information on John Brown born 1732 at Calton, Yorkshire. He died in 1797. John married Margaret Parkinson in 1760 at Kirkby Malham, Yorkshire. Their 7 children were all born in Calton and christened at Kirkby Malham. John (1761-1842), Nancy (1764-1764), Thomas (1765-?), Edward (1768-?), William (1771-1812), Margaret (1774-1847) and Peter (1777-?).

I am seeking information on Ellen Throup, born 1796 at Cowhouse/Winterburn, Yorkshire. Ellen married John Brown (1798-1853) farmer of Calton on June 25, 1828 at Gargrave, Yorkshire. She was the daughter of Elizabeth and John Throup. Ellen died on February 21, 1854 at Calton.

I am seeking information on John Taylor born 1802 at Airton, Yorkshire, son of Margaret (nee Brown) and Anthony Taylor of Airton. John's wife's name was Mercy, born 1825 at Mearley, Lancashire. They had two children born at Airton - Anthony in 1849 and Ann Margaret in 1850.
