Looking for decendants (or ascendants)of William Harvey b1801 married Ruth Marshalsea in 1826 at St Mary's Whitelackington Somerset, on 26 Jan 1826 Reg No20. lived in Compton Pauncefoot where my gggrandfather William Harvey was born 1840. Siblings were John b1826 Ann b1828 Nathaniel b1830 Mary Ann b1834 Susan b1836. records show that William b1801 died in 1850 at his son John in Wincanton. Any info would be very welcome. Thanks

Censuses 1841-1901 for entire village (Dec 05 Red)
Am compiling a family history of Foot's in Compton Pauncefoot; Ancestry has been traced back to this village where it seems several generations have resided, together with brothers / sisters' families. Foot's very much prevalent here, mostly as Ag Lab's. Would also like to see any photos of the village, both past and present, and possibly detailed information regarding map of the village showing house numbers if possible, in order to cross-refer to census information. I also wonder if the manor (castle) has its own employee register that can be made available? Any means of finding this out? Since I have a comprehensive copy of all of the census records for the entire village, can also check out any other enquiries anyone should have on other residents of the time. It is entirely possible that I come across marriages between Foot's and other persons of the village - however, much of this study has yet to be done...
