I am looking for Whittlesey's (various spellings) who lived in Colne in the early 1600's, paricularly a John Whittlesey.

The children of Jeremiah and Esther WHETSTONE were born at Colne, Huntingdonshire between 1819 and 1829. The parents and children immigrated to Canada by 1852 where they settled in East Nissouri Township, Oxford Co., Ontario. The children were Elizer, Mary Ann, Josiah, Hezekiah, John Harper, William and Abraham.

Looking for the ancestors of Sarah Enfield/ Infield. Sarah was born about 1814 in Colne, and married Simeon Dunkling, also from Colne. If anyone has any details please email me.

Ellis - Colne (Aug 05 Red)
I am looking for connections to the Ellis family who lived in Colne Huntingdonshire. The earliest record I can find is for William Ellis 1776, he was married to Elizabeth Limmage. Elizabeth's father was William Limmage born 1750. William Ellis had a son named Joseph Ellis 1813 who married Ann Hide 1820. There daughter was Sarah Ann Ellis 1847, who married James Goodley 1846.
