Birkin and Spall
(Nov 09
Red)
I am looking for the Charles Birkin family who lived in Colchester around the middle of the 1900's. I have a couple of addresses for them in (or near) Colchester, both with post codes, so not so long ago. The Spall family, as far as I can tell, not related, also lived in Colchester at about the same time, 2 addresses, 1 postcode. Please can anyone help to find them or their decendants?

Elsie Woolley
(Mar 09
Red)
Elsie E. Woolley went to Australia in 1911 travelling with her parents and siblings on the SS Armadale that left London on 26 May and disembarked at Fremantle. An Elsie Woolley returned to England in 1934 aboard the SS Bendigo arriving in London on 26 May. The passenger list gives her age as 40, occupation as a Typist and the address that she was going to as 59 Hythe Hill, Colchester. Are these Elsie's the same person? Also, did Elsie who arrived in 1934 work as a housekeeper to a Rector in Norfolk until 1944?
