KEMP / GREEN / CHIPPERFIELD
(Feb 08
Red)
I am trying to trace the tree of James Kemp who married Emma Green and lived in Clavering. They ran the Axe & Compasses from 1890. James' father was William Kemp b. 1818 and his mother was Hannah Chipperfield b. 1822. James had a sister Lucy and a brother William who played for the cricket team. Any information would be appreciated.

Sell Family
(Jun 07
Red)
Looking for relatives of the Sell family from Clavering Essex.
My Mothers side of the Family are Sells, My Grandfather was Charlie Sell and married a Wyburn. I believe the Wyburns were a large farming family from the Berdon/Little London area.
Charlie and grandmother lived for a while at Sunny Hill Buntingford. He was a Builder in the Buntingford area, served as a sapper during WW1, he died as a result of mustard gas poisoning sometime after WW1, possibly in the 1930's. He had three daughters and two sons, Sylvia, Stanley, Geoffrey (died 1937), Ivy, and Kathleen.

William Judd and family were living Clavering when the 1841 and 1851 Census was done. His daughter Anne, born c1832 married Henry Wedlock 1855 and migrated to Australia. We believe Judds originally came from Langley. We are uncertain of their line. Can anyone help? Thank you , Gayle
