green mail Bell, Amy: (Dec 05 Green)
Anyone got data on the Bell family, 1700-1740. The Bells used Wrenbury Church for their BMDs? I am interested in Charles and Ellen (marr. 1713), their daughter, Ellen and, I HOPE, daughter, Amy. Many thanks

green mail BELL, AMY: of Chorley in the Nantwich Hundred of South Cheshire. (Revised Aug 07 Green)
Amy Bell was 'of Chorley Hall' in 1739/40 on her marriage to George Burrey. Their children were: Charles (1742), Ellen (1746), Amy (1749), Elizabeth (1753), and Sarah (1756). Amy Burrey (nee Bell) was probably bapt. at Wrenbury, the daughter of Charles and Ellen Bell who married in 1713. Have any other F.H. buffs come across this family? Amy Burrey who was born in 1749, married John Edgely at Wrenbury in 1777.

i have extensive connections to the whittaker family who resided at Chorley Hall near Alderley for much of the 1700's and in to the 1800's. I am looking for modern day descendants of this family
