I would like to be able to trace back further in my family along this line: William Gibson b1789 in Essex married the daughter of Rev John Robinson, Jane Robinson on 26 September 1814, in Edmonton, Middlesex. 8 of their 10 children were born at Althorne - near Chipping Ongar

John Houtchin was baptised in Ongar on 17th Sept 1727 the son of Richard and Anne [maiden name not known]. Is this the same Richard who married (his cousin?) Mary Houchin (daughter of Abraham and Sarah), born 1730, in Terling on 20th Nov 1760? Would welcome contact from other Houchin researchers.

William J Cook son of Nathan Cook married Rachel Langley Styles. Son Nathan Cook, wheelwright found in 1901 census with family still in Chipping Ongar. William and Rachel also had sons Charles and John but I think John died. Daughter Maria. Any information needed.
