GEORGE AND MARY ANN FOSTER - Chingford
(Nov 07
Red)
George and Mary Ann Foster b 1840 and 1849 respectively and with eventually eleven children, moved to Chingford in c1881 after George retired from the RMLI following 21 years service. In 1901 they lived at 2 Queens Terrace, Chingford and George was described as a "Constable, Central Marker(t)". I suspected, as he was a horseman that he was a Ranger in Epping Forest but this is just a guess. I would be very grateful if anyone could enlighten me on his occupation and any other information about him - many thanks.
