OLIVE and JACK CARR of CHESTER LE STREET, C. 1930's
(Jul 09
Red)
Does anyone have any knowledge of this couple please. In the early 1930's they helped to bring up Kitty Taylor (13 years old in Dec 1930) after her family separated. Olive and Jack Carr lived then at Chester le Street and had a son, possibly other children too. Kitty remembered that Olive had had to look after a 'Grandma Westerman' for some time before she married Jack Carr.
I am looking for more Carrs,Taylors, Coates and Westermans in the Durham/Darlington/ Chester le Street areas who might have a connection to Kitty Burridge (nee Taylor). Kitty was born at Ferryhill Dec. 1917. Her parents were Thomas and Bertha Taylor (nee Coates). Thankyou.
