My ancestor William Massey was baptised in the parish church of Chalfont St Giles on Feb 19 1792.He married Rebecca,who was born in Wooburn Green.Their son James married Sarah Pearce on 28.07.1856 at the parish church in Chesham,where the family lived until the 1970's.The direct family line includes George Massey born 20.06.1857,Sidney George Massey born 13.07.1886 and Clifford Sidney Massey,my father on 29 07 1913.

Jane Margaret Goodman was born in Chalfont St Giles, Bucks, around 1851. Father John,a salesman, mother Jane. Only birth record for this name says 1847 which does not tally with her age on marriage cert, 1881 census or grave. No record of her in thisarea in the 1851 census, nor of the possible 'other' Jane born in 1847. Jane married John Joseph Woodward in 1878. Can anyone help?
