Veriod (Revised Nov 07 Green)
Looking for any information on the VERIOD family, who lived in Chaffcombe. Earliest record is 1812 (marriage between Mary Veriod and Arthur Hull) Latest ref for Chaffcombe is 1870 PR record for christening of Arthur William Vine Veriott. I have all the census info and some PR info, but would be interested in any other refs. Various family members lived around Chard until 1950s. Including Mary Ann Veriod died Forton Chard 1890 and John Veriod son of James and Patience lived in Chard until 1933

Cox Ann nee Daw (Revised Jul 07 Green)
trying to track down details of Ann Daw b. abt.1794 who was supposedly from Chaffcombe. Married Thomas Cox from West Coker in Oct 1820 at Merriott. Anne was widowed and returned to Chaffcombe pregnant with their fifth child,John.Betsey,Robert,William and Thomas, who died young ,were all born in Merriott.I have a fair amount of information on these children from Census' but little on Ann before her marriage.

Looking for LANGFORDs in the early 1800s. Robert Langford and Frances Little WILKINS had four daughters: Louisa, Sarah, Amelia, and Mary Ann. Frances was born in Chaffcombe, so LITTLE and WILKINS are other interesting surnames.
